But wait – there’s more! The CCC Museum also has a fenced in out door area. The exterior exhibit area, āRecess!ā, adds approximately 10,000 additional square feet for guests to enjoy. Highlights of the Recess! exterior space include a water wall, raised garden beds, a massive sand pit, a 12 foot alligator statue, a walk of wellness, scooter station, a custom Chambers County mural by Houston artist David Maldonado, and a unique climbing structure. The climbing structure, produced by Earth Scape, includes a play house, 2 climbing clouds, and a large āLog Tangleā – the playground version/interpretation of a high-ropes course, where elevated triangular platforms connect via different obstacles.
