The Chambers County Children’s Museum includes almost 17,000 sq ft of interior play space for children ages 0-12 designed to inspire discovery through innovation, hands on experiences and exploratory play. The Museum interior is designed around a Main Street where Kids Rule! Featuring a construction site, bank, restaurant, grocery store, dental/ortho office, light room, doctor’s office and farm Main Street is the place to be. In the center of Main Street is our Oil and Natural Gas Park sponsored by Enterprise Products. The Park tells the story of oil & natural gas from location to extraction, refining, transportation and final products. -
But wait – there’s more! The CCC Museum also has a fenced in outdoor area. The exterior exhibit area, “Recess!”, adds approximately 10,000 additional square feet for guests to enjoy. The Recess! exterior space includes a magnetic water wall, raised garden beds, a massive sand pit with toys, a 12 foot alligator statue, the walk of wellness, scooter station complete with EZ roller scooters for racing, a custom Chambers County mural perfect for that must have ‘melfie’ (a museum selfie), and a one of a kind playground climbing structure. The climbing structure includes a play house with slides, 2 climbing clouds, and a large ‘Log Tangle’.
