Each 4 day camp is 2.5 hours long each day, and includes curated activities led by our teachers and Innovation Experts, snacks, and free play in the museum.

ROBLOX WORLD BUILDING CAMP
9:30 AM to 12:00 PM

The Chambers County Children’s Museum is excited to bring in Code Ninjas to offer this camp!
There’s an epic adventure waiting for Ninjas, both newbies and seasoned players, in the limitless universe of Roblox! This camp is a creative playground where kids will learn to program and craft their own 3D worlds, turning imagination into reality. They’ll develop unique environments ready to be shared with the Roblox community. Enroll your child to explore, innovate, and connect with friends as they unleash their creativity in a fun, engaging, and educational setting.

CARTOON CRAZE CAMP

Join our resident craft-expert, Becca for 4 days of Cartoon Craze Camp. Unleash your child’s imagination at Cartoon Craze Camp! Enjoy drawing from everyone’s favorite animated shows, stories and classic comics. Artists will learn how to create their favorite cartoon characters and comic-style storyboards. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a love for art in a supportive, playful environment. By the end of camp, each young artist will have original cartoon creations to share and celebrate. It’s more than just drawing, it’s a place where creativity becomes an adventure!

MAD SCIENTIST CAMP

Dive into a week of bubbling experiments, creative inventions, and hands-on STEM fun! Campers will explore colorful reactions, build quirky creations, and test their own scientific theories. Along the way, they’ll boost their curiosity, confidence, and problem solving skills. By the end of camp, every young scientist will leave inspired and excited to explore!

3D PRINTING CAMP

Perfect for kids eager to explore their creativity, this camp offers a hands-on journey into designing and bringing ideas to life using Tinkercad. Ninjas will code and print their own custom models, including fun and functional items like bubble wands and keychains. As they embark on this creative adventure, they will learn invaluable tips, cool techniques, and best practices for exciting explorations in 3D modeling and printing.

ART LAB ACADEMY: Ages 6-9

During this Summer Art Camp, kids will learn the basic elements of art. While developing their creativity exploring multiple media such as watercolors, acrylic paint, paper collage and ink. They will work individually and collectively to enjoy the process of creating their own masterpieces.Hosted by Eileen Trigg:Since 2014, Eileen Trigg, known as The Busy Brush Artist, has been adding her artistic touches and spreading color in her surrounding communities one wall mural, one paint party, one art lesson and one canvas at a time. She taught her love of art in church nurseries, homeschool co-ops, private lessons, Paint Parties and Creative Kids Art Camps to artists from 2 years of age to 95 years old. Her motto is “Everyone can create, you don’t have to be good. You just have to have fun.” She is excited to paint with your artist at the Chambers County Children’s Museum!

MINECRAFT MODDING CAMP

This camp is the ultimate playground for kids who dream of altering and enhancing their Minecraft worlds. Ninjas will transform Minecraft Java Edition into a personalized adventure by harnessing the power of MCreator to craft their own incredible mods. They’ll create custom elements like ore, blocks, ingot, crafting recipes, weapons, armor, potions, custom biomes… the list goes on. And yes, it even includes nuclear TNT! Ninjas will also get hands-on experience with Blockbench and learn how to code procedures in MCreator with block language. Time to turn those modding visions into reality!

ZOOM INTO WILDLIFE CAMP

Zoom into Wildlife will provide children an educational experience about animals, including their habitats, diet, behavior, and more. Local organizations will bring their knowledge and passion for animals to camp each day through interactive experiences.
