Jessica and Macy spent the morning with a group of Children’s Museums around Texas for a roundtable discussion. The Beaumont Children’s Museum hosted the group and facilitated the discussion, which included representatives from the Denton Children’s Museum, the Brownsville Children’s Museum, and Galveston Children’s Museum. A lot was learned about many different facets of the business including admission prices, membership retention, exhibit upkeep, fundraising, hosting field trips, etc. Jessica and Macy came back feeling connected, supported, and full of ideas.
